Dr Katya Buc is a passionate and caring dentist with more than 20 years of full-time experience in private dental practice. She completed her undergraduate training at the University of Melbourne, graduating with Honours in 2001 and successfully completed the RACDS Primary examinations in 2004.

Katya joined Smile Style Dental in October 2014, and her friendly nature and caring demeanor quickly puts patients at ease. She enjoys building relationships with her patients and helping them achieve long-term dental stability and excellent oral health.

Katya’s clinical interests are focused on preventative dentistry for both adults and children, including the treatment of decay, gum disease, and jaw joint (TMJ) problems. She works well with nervous patients, offering the use of nitrous oxide sedation to help them have their treatment completed comfortably. She is also very experienced in aesthetic dental procedures such as veneers, crowns, resin bonding, and tooth whitening.

Katya has focused her continuing education on dental disease prevention as well as early (interceptive) orthodontics, and works closely with local orthodontists to provide options for the correction of malocclusion and facial growth problems in her young patients. Katya looks after all our Invisalign clients and has case upon case of beautiful smiles she has created for her patients.

Katya is available for appointments on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and some Saturday mornings.
